Three items will be up for grabs during the District Conference April 30th. Two original paintings by Sooner Rotarian Katie Kimberling reflect the upcoming Rotary President’s Theme ‘Imagine Rotary’. An acrylic rendering of this theme is signed by Rotary International President-Elect Jennifer Jones. An oil painting is also available for the auction.
The third auction item is a S Bent and Brothers Black Wood Captain’s Chair with Rotary International insignia. This chair donated by Jim and Diane Murphree was a gift to Jim’s father in the 1960’s when he was a member of the Ponca City Rotary club.
While bidding will occur during the District Conference, those unable to attend are welcome to bid on these unique pieces. Send an email to rotary5770@gmail.com with your best and final bid. When the auction closes Saturday evening, emails received will be included in determining the winner of an item.
